We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic data platform team and help build scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power the organization’s products. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and integrations that process large volumes of data, supporting both real-time and batch workflows. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure data integrity throughout the platform. Accountabilities:
Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components for the data platform.Contribute to data pipelines and processes (ELT/ETL) to extract, process, and transform data efficiently.Build and maintain integrations with internal and external data providers using various protocols.Drive engineering projects end-to-end with high ownership, ensuring delivery on time and quality.Collaborate cross-functionally to support platform goals beyond core responsibilities.Maintain product and data quality through automated and manual testing and code reviews.Requirements:
8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on data engineering.Expertise in backend development, including REST/gRPC API design and service support.Experience with SQL and database/lakehouse technologies such as Redshift, Clickhouse, Trino, StarRocks, Apache Iceberg, or Postgres.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data-related services (S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue, Kinesis, Athena).Strong problem-solving skills, action-oriented mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Nice to have: experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, DBT), .NET ecosystem, orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow), or previous experience in high-growth startups.Benefits:
