We're looking for Software Engineers who are interested in space exploration and passionate about building scalable, reliable software. You will be responsible for creating delightful user experiences that solve very complex problems. We are currently using technologies such as Node.js, React, Llama, Postgres, AWS GovCloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, and we expect our stack to evolve over time as we scale our solutions and approach.
This is an impactful role within a fast-paced startup. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience designing and implementing software systems from requirements to production and deployment.

Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and release our web-based operational dashboards, electronic procedure tools, and a suite of specialized software solutions to support various space missionsCreate software to support simple and complex computation on datasets for decision-making and autonomous executionBuild and deploy high-quality code on a daily basis for rapid iteration and testing with usersDesign APIs and integration solutions for various proprietary and open-source telemetry and command and control systemsRapidly prototype demos and proof-of-concepts for customer meetingsJoin and actively participate in customer discovery calls and technical demonstrationsAnalyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of software systemsSupport software QA and user testingAssess third-party and open-source software and develop integrationsContribute to the growth and refinement of our engineering culture, processes, and tools
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Software EngineerProficiency with TypeScript and with JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or SvelteStrong foundation in computer science concepts (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design, testing, etc.)Self-starter and able to navigate ambiguity and assess rapidly evolving prioritiesStrong team player with great communication skills and collaborative work ethicLove of learning (technical and otherwise)Experience at fast-growing tech startups is a plusExperience with Lean Startup & Agile software development methodologies is a plusBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldUS Citizenship required (future security clearance may be required)Must be located in the United States
