Your Mission:
As a Software Engineer III, you will support the development and sustainment of infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment. You will design, build, test, and maintain software components that support our mission operations. Your role involves working with containerized applications, automating deployments, and integrating continuous delivery pipelines.
This position requires a current polygraph within the last 7 years.

A Day in the Life:
Developing and maintaining Linux-based software for HPC infrastructureScripting in Bash and Python to automate system tasksBuilding and deploying containers with Docker, Podman, or containerdAutomating deployments using Ansible and supporting CI/CD pipelinesDebugging and troubleshooting issues in operational systemsCollaborating with cross-functional teams using Git, JIRA, and ConfluenceParticipating in Agile or Scaled Agile development sprints
What we are expecting from you:
TS/SCI with Polygraph (within the last 7 years)Nine (9) years of software engineering experience OR Bachelor’s degree + seven (7) years of experience OR Master’s degree + five (5) years of experienceProficiency in Linux CLI, Python, and Bash scriptingExperience with Rust or similar modern programming languagesFamiliarity with Docker, Podman, or containerdHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or JenkinsStrong understanding of Git and version control workflows
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with NetBox or other DCIM toolsExperience with Splunk or other observability platformsKnowledge of Keycloak or similar IAM solutionsExperience using HashiCorp Vault for secrets managementProficiency with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies
