Job summary
We’re building DigiCert’s next-generation AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — a cloud-native platform that extends digital trust to AI models, agents, and software ecosystems.
What you will do
You’ll build the core APIs and microservices that power DigiCert’s AI Security & Trust Infrastructure — distributed systems that handle trust signals, identity validation, and real-time event processing.
- Design and develop event-driven microservices and API-driven workflows.
- Implement scalable, observable, and secure backend services.
- Contribute to data modeling, caching, and performance optimization.
- Integrate distributed components with identity and trust layers.
- Partner with infrastructure and security engineers to ensure deployability and resilience.
- Use modern AI-assisted development workflows to maintain velocity and clarity.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incident postmortems.
What you will have
- Proficiency in Java or a similar programming language (Python is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing enterprise software and services.
- 1+ year of experience with Unix/Linux systems.
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience working on scalable systems or developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with micro services architecture and cloud environments.
- Basic understanding of database optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
- Basic knowledge of performance monitoring and scalability principles
