We're looking for a top-notch, passionate Software Engineer to join our Social Media team. As part of this role, you need to understand and analyze heavy usage applications` architecture and their performance including getting deep understanding of the business workflows behind them. The next step after understanding the challenge's scope is to design, build (hands-on) the suggested solution, test and deploy it to production. All done in continuous development and deployment environment. Now you will need to guide and help developers across multiple teams adopt your solution. If you think you can handle a wide range of technologies, play and lead an important role in the design and analysis of software projects, create new applications or improve existing ones, evaluate application technologies, develop product prototypes and implement it in different parts of our product, please contact us!

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Design and implement major aspects of the architecture of an applications, including components such as infrastructure, backbone services and user interface
  • Lead by example the development of modules for a high-end product that serves billions of transactions a day
  • Design and develop viable solutions for various systems and architectures to different types of Innovid business aspects
  • Deploy your solutions to production in a continuous manner
  • Be responsible for the well-being of Innovid applications in production
  • Work with R&D managers to define, prioritize and finalize development standards
  • Oversee the Design Process for Application Software
  • Provide technical training, support, and training to R&D developers

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • +2 years of back-end software development experience in highly dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Phyton, Java or Go and experience with relevant frameworks and technologies (ex. Flask, FastApi, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Boto3). 
  • Advanced English (speaking, reading, writing and listening)
  • A B.Sc. in computer science or a related discipline - Finished or at final years
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Nice to have:

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services. 
    • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Contributions to open-source projects
    • Experience with front-end development with React and TypeScript (or similar technologies)
