This is a high-impact technical leadership role focused on shaping and scaling mobile applications that power connected consumer devices used by millions of users. You will work across iOS and Android systems, driving end-to-end feature development and improving the reliability, performance, and user experience of a complex mobile ecosystem. The role blends hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with Product, Design, QA, and backend teams to deliver fast, high-quality releases in a dynamic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on ownership, autonomy, and pragmatic decision-making. You will also play a key role in advancing AI-assisted development practices across mobile engineering teams. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of mobile features across iOS and Android applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Own technical architecture decisions and contribute to shaping mobile system design across cross-platform ecosystems and connected services.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues spanning mobile, backend, and device integrations, ensuring rapid incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering stakeholders to define requirements, scope solutions, and deliver user-centric features.
- Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices in mobile development and system design.
- Champion AI-assisted development workflows and help establish engineering standards for scalable, high-quality mobile delivery.
- 6+ years of professional mobile engineering experience building production-grade applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, or similar modern frameworks.
- Strong experience leading technical initiatives, driving architectural decisions, and delivering complex mobile systems at scale.
- Deep understanding of mobile engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance optimization, and system reliability.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with Product, Design, and Backend teams in fast-paced delivery settings.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, communicate clearly, and influence technical direction across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset and comfort working across multiple layers of the stack.
