As an engineer at Superstate, you'll play a pivotal role in building ultra-low latency trading infrastructure for tokenized assets. You'll work on high-performance systems that bridge traditional HFT techniques with blockchain technology, designing the engines, APIs, and infrastructure to make finance itself more efficient.

Build ultra-low latency trading engines and execution systems in RustDesign and implement high-performance order matching and routing systemsOptimize system architecture for microsecond-level latency requirementsBuild out APIs and integrations with exchanges and liquidity providersLead performance profiling, benchmarking, and optimization effortsEnthusiastically collaborate with a small team, owning and planning projects for long-term impactTeach and mentor other engineers
What you'll bring to the team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field9+ years of professional engineering experienceExpert-level Rust experience with focus on zero-copy operations, lock-free programming, and memory optimizationDeep experience building ultra-low latency trading systems (HFT/high-frequency trading)Deep understanding of network protocols, kernel bypass techniques, and hardware accelerationProven track record optimizing for sub-millisecond latencies in production trading environmentsExperience with CPU pinning and low-level performance tuningFamiliarity with SQL, query planning and optimizationExceptional judgment, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset
