What you will do
As part of the Engineering team and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead the development of scalable, APIs that expose insights from our Data Platform to applications and features across the companyYou will collaborate with Product and Application teams to understand their data needs and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainableYou will guide the evolution of the Data Platform model to serve use cases across domains like Vulnerability Management, Posture, and IdentityContribute to the long-term vision and architectural direction of the Data Platform, focusing on how data is exposed and consumedChampion quality, simplicity, and clarity in both data modeling and API designParticipate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issue.
What you will bring with you
Experience designing and building backend APIs in distributed systems, with a focus on data-heavy or analytical use casesA grasp of data modeling conceptsSolid development experience in Go or similar languagesBroad familiarity with database systems, knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j is a plusUnderstanding of API governance and best practices around consistency, versioning and access controlProficiency with standard engineering tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization)
What we look for
Collaborate and guide projects with multiple partnersInterest in Cloud Security or experience working in that space is appreciated, but not requiredFluency in English
