Responsibilities

  • Independently guide the technical direction and implementation by the whole team within defined architecture in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between correctness, robustness, performance, and customer impact to ensure the development of the right solution, with client success at the forefront.
  • Create and lead the team's technical documentation and repository management practices, including tasks such as creating branches, pull requests, merges, etc.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to provide necessary oversight of architecture and dependencies influencing product strategy and direction.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and addressing complex bug fixes with a focus on security, performance, and reliability.
  • Be an active leader in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring Senior Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

  • Requirements

  • Experience Required: Minimum 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in Angular and 3+ years in React.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of scalable front-end architectures.
  • Define and enforce UI coding standards, design patterns, and reusable component libraries across multiple products.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, backend teams, and product managers to translate business requirements into robust, high-performing technical solutions.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Cypress), and code review practices.
  • Mentor and guide a team of frontend engineers through design reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.
  • Implement observability and telemetry in UI components for real-time monitoring and issue detection.
  • Work closely with solution architects to align the UI layer with micro-frontend architecture, API gateway integration, and authentication strategies (OAuth2/OIDC).
  • Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and propose innovations to improve delivery speed, maintainability, and user experience.
  • Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v14+) and/or React (v18+) using TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of state management tools such as NgRx, ComponentStore, Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS / SCSS, and responsive web design best practices.
  • Experience in building and maintaining design systems, Storybook libraries, and reusable UI component kits.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud deployments (AWS / Azure).
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Playwright, and Testing Library.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n) standards and practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams to design, build, and deliver well-tested, scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise-level systems aligned with business goals.
